I completed my midwifery training at Canterbury Christ Church University where I achieved a First Class BSc Hons. Since then I have predominantly worked in a hospital setting, caring for women antenatally, during birth and in the postnatal period. I am particularly interested in facilitating normal births and waterbirths. In addition, I occasionally work as a community midwife which I find extremely interesting and diverse. More recently, I have become more involved with antenatal education and really enjoy the teaching and meeting new couples.
Emma Evans - Doula

Highly recommend this class - perfect amount of time, met lovely people. Was great to chat to Gemma from the lazy daisy chain and the advice she gave was to the point and easy to remember ( very useful if you have baby brain)! Met a fabulous masseuse (Lorena) who has since come to my house with her amazing pregnancy cushion for a gorgeous massage! Delicious cappuccino and giggles with other mums and a lovely lunch to finish off. Don\'t miss out on this class - really worthwhile and enjoyable.
